Fall Decor - Thanksgiving Table

Well folks, October is nearly over and that means Thanksgiving and the holidays will be here before we know it! Around our house, Thanksgiving is one of our favorite holidays. There is nothing better than having all your loved ones sitting around a table on Turkey day - eating the best foods ever! Typically we spend our Thanksgiving at my husband’s family farmhouse in the Catskills, NY (where we married two years ago). My sister-in-law is expecting TWINS any day now, so this year we are staying local to get our baby fix.

If you are hosting family or friends for Thanksgiving, then this post is for you! I am sharing some beautiful table setting inspiration that I have sourced from pinterest. What better way to keep people lingering at the table, than to style it beautifully? With each style, I have provided some product recommendations so you can recreate this look in your home, just in time for the holiday!

Not hosting? Perhaps your one of these products below will make for the perfect gift for your host!

boho/vintage

Creating this look is all about layering of textures and, bonus, I think it will work for anyone who loves bringing out the family china on turkey day! How cute are those little vintage cups from Etsy? Nothing helps give that boho/eclectic vibe like mixing up the glassware. ILO one big bouquet as shown in the first image, I would style with several smaller bouquets, like shown in the second image. It is a bit more practical to leave some room on the table for the main event - THE FOOD!

neutral and bright

Of course, this look is all about keeping things bright and neutral. What I love most about this look, is that it is incredibly versatile. It is also not overly elaborate, so it’s perfect for the host who has spent all their time prepping and cooking. Simply buy some greens from your local grocery store (super cheap) and trim and place directly on the table! (Pro tip - take out of water about 1 hour before placing on the table, this way they dont get your table cloth wet).

Despite its simplicity, the textures and patterns are subtle enough to draw you in, and keep the whole family chatting over the table for hours and hours.

modern glam

Modern Glam — this is for the folks who like a table styled for a big impact! The runner of this table is the jumping off point for this style, drape it over your wood dining table, or place a bright white table cloth down first. The bold pattern and modern lines set the stage for this table. Sprinkles of gold through several of the pieces are sure to glam up the table settings. And how about the ombre silverware?!

rustic charm

Doesn’t this collection of Rustic Charm just scream “pass the stuffing please!” What I love about this style is the warmth and coziness of it all. It is also a bit laidback and casual, so I think it could also work as an “everyday” style. It is just incredibly versatile - swap in just a few of the accessories, like green or blue striped napkins, and a Christmas/Hanukkah platter and you are ready to reuse for the next round of holidays

modern and organic

Last, but certainly not least, the Modern and Organic look! I love this look for the clean, modern feel, without the starkness that is typically associated with modern design. The introduction of copper and variety of textures, warms up the look and creates for a very inviting table setting

So what do you think, folks? I’ve fallen in love with boho/vintage and the modern and organic look! If I was hosting, I am not sure I would be able to choose just one of the styles shown above. I would love to hear which style is your favorite in the comments below. More importantly, I want to hear about your Thanksgiving traditions with friends and family!
