Terms + Conditions

1. Our remote design services are an online decorating consultation service only. All recommendations are regarded as suggestions to improve the look of your space and not intended for construction purposes.

2. Client agrees to provide full information regarding the client’s requirements for the project. Rooted by Design is not responsible for inaccurate information provided by the client.  

3. Payment in full is expected prior to initiating the design phase of remote design projects.

4. Remote design client agrees to correspond in a timely manner through online communication (and/or phone if client desires).

5. Rooted by Design will not be responsible for the means, methods or procedures of construction, fabrication, delivery & installation, or safety precautions in connection with the project; for the acts or omissions of the contractor or any, subcontractor, supplier or other person performing the work on the e-design project; or, for any failure of them to meet any schedules or completion dates.

6. Rooted by Design cannot be held responsible for arranging repairs, replacement or freight claims for purchases made in conjunction with recommendations for remote design projects.

7. Design time for remote design services is limited to 30 business days from the date of package purchase. If, after the 30 business day deadline has passed and the client has failed to finalize the design, Rooted by Design reserves the right to deliver a final "as is" shopping list with the most recent suggested items. If client desires further revisions after the 30 business day window has closed, a fee of $125/hour will apply.

8. While Rooted by Design will make an effort to prioritize quality when recommending products, we cannot be held responsible for the quality of all items. 

9. For "free" design inspiration downloads, Rooted by Design cannot guarantee that all items listed will remain in-stock at the time of download.

10. For "free" design inspiration downloads, Rooted by Design is not responsible for finding alternative items if an item is out of stock, or not sized appropriately for one's own space.

11. For "free" design inspiration downloads, Rooted by Design does not provide any information or instruction for install or construction. These designs are to be used as launch point for one's own projects. The user takes full responsibility in ensuring that the fixtures are appropriately sized, compatible with existing conditions, and installed correctly.
